WebNov 1, 2024 · Creating a Y-Piece with tapered ends Hello everybody, I am totally new to CAD and Fusion 360 in general, but I have tried to gain some knowledge with the help of tutorials. I would like to create a Y-piece with two tapered ends for pipes. I have created the first part of the Y-piece with the help of the path and pipe tool. WebApr 28, 2024 · The problem is that Fusion doesn't seem to take the tapered shape into account and computes toolpaths that ram the wider part of the tool into stock. I looked through all the settings and tool geometry configuration, but I can't find anything that would help. Is there something I'm missing?

Extrude with taper or Revolve. I suspect that you have somehow found yourself in the wrong modeling area of Fusion. Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I successfully used functions such as draft and taper angle on my other shapes (e.g hexagon, circle) but I am stuck now on the heart shape.
