It is a unique village with Thatched Cottages which reminded us of Croyde in North Devon. There is a 2.5-mile-long beach and a Nature Reserve to spot wildlife. Parking is available at Oxwich Car Park and costs £5 per day. WebMewslade bay is a beautiful, sandy beach in Gower near the famous Worm’s Head. It has a dramatic backing; high grassy cliffs and knife-edge aretes point skywards, giving it a fantastic view. This beach is difficult to access, making it very quiet and secluded, and few people make it there.
