WebDec 2, 2024 · I have chat issues periodically, where my friends can no longer see my messages, nor I theirs. I’m in the “Game” channel, Allow Online Chat is enabled. Reconnecting to battle.net sometimes can fix this. We can see each others private battle.net messages, but this is a poor alternative because it is only 1 on 1, not party chat. WebI can get D2R.exe to launch directly in Steam via Proton, but it always states that I can't play offline and it has to be online at least once every 30 days. I got the Battle.net launcher to run in Proton and from that, surprisingly, it was able to "refind and repair" Diablo 2 Resurrected and then I could launch Diablo 2 from the launcher.
