WebEssentially CTS- BD1 but with Nitrogen replacing most if not all of the previously available Vanadium found in the aforementioned BD1, which itself is equivalent to Hitachi steels. BD1N has very good corrosion resistance and good edge retention, fine grain. So a great step up from VG10. Probably not as edge retention capable as S30v.
